</aside>

Our main task as a producer on Impact is to edit stories from the documentary class. We typically focus on the online edits, meaning we are focus on pacing, cuts and ensuring the structure of the story makes sense visually and aurally. Typically we will be editing for the stories to be more concise, to be snappier and to have greater clarity. Subsequently, we are also responsible for publishing and promoting each episode (Follow us on @uscimpact on Instagram, Facebook and TikTok). All in all, the expected time commitment is 10 hours a week or less.

We are guided by our wonderful faculty members (who are also members of the Television Academy…) who will provide us guidance on what to edit and look out for. We typically have our weekly meetings at 8am on Tuesday.
